A short game where lost objects hold more that just sentimental value.

Help random strangers reconnect with their lost possessions, but beware, they are not the only ones losing something.

About

A short game made for the Neuro-sama Birthday Game Jam, The theme of the Jams was being "lost and found".

In this game, you take control of a lost and found office worker, while on your shift, strangers bringing you objects, each with some sort of sentimental value; others may come to find said objects, however, as you help them retrieve their possessions, you start losing your own, and maybe something else along the way.

How to play

** Disclaimer, the game may be a bit buggy so bear with us :'<

*** please don't spam keys while talking to NPCs, this breaks the game :'<

Controllers :

• Use WASD to move.
• Move the mouse to look around.
• Mouse left click to pick up and drop objects.
• E to interact with objects while sitting on the chair and having an object on the inspection table.
• Mouse right click drag to rotate objects while inspecting.
• F to advance dialog and E to close them (we know, sorry)
• ESC to exit chair mode.

Motivation/Plot

Objects are not just objects, they represent precious memories, this idea drives the concept of the game . We tried to create an scenario where , as you give away lost objects you're also losing your own , not just objects, but memories, not just memories, but your mind, the idea was to represent the process of going through memory Alzheimer, how, little by little memories fade, you forget things, you can't function like you used to, and eventually you're but a shell of what you used to be
